Little Falls is a unique storybook community in which to grow up and to live. The interstate passes to our south on the other side of the hill, which forms part of the gorge through which the Mohawk River flows. It boggles the mind to think how many people drive through this area without ever knowing that a gem like Little Falls is here.

We suggest that you get off I-90 at exit 29A Central New York State and spend a few hours in our city. Walk down our Main Street, visit Canal Place, or the Lock – the world’s third-highest single lift lock at 48 feet.

We are just an hour from Albany, four hours from New York City, four hours from Boston, and four hours from Buffalo. We have numerous restaurants, small businesses, and parks; interesting places to stay, an active historical society, and beautiful restored buildings; convenient bank facilities, pharmacies, and community centers; and a great library, baseball field, YMCA, and yoga and fitness studios.

A warm welcome awaits you in Little Falls!
