James M Evans

Mike was born and raised in Little Falls, then left for a thirty-year road trip, and returned in 2011. As Mike points out, it may seem strange that someone who is concerned with the environment has an occupation that involves burning hydrocarbons for entertainment (sports car racing), but that is what he does. He has traveled all over the USA and Europe racing Porsches — and some other brands, but mostly Porsches. He doesn’t drive the cars anymore. Today he’s involved with the mechanical end of things, making sure the team makes the right decisions during the race. When at home in Little Falls, he builds race cars for customers. Right now, he’s building a Cobra replica for Dr. Andrew Wickline. Mike has four children and two grandchildren scattered all over the country. Besides being an active member of Main Street First, Mike is also a Rotarian and the chairman of the Little Falls Micro Fund. He enjoys hiking, kayaking, bicycling, snowmobiling, and bowling.
